The green machine keeps growing, and this worldwide movement includes manufacturing. Did you know NCCA has thrown major backing behind its environmental efforts for 2008 and beyond?

Last July, NCCA leaders believed that the green movement would only gather more steam, and it appears they were right. Since then, NCCA’s Environmental Stewardship Subcommittee has been hard at work on a specific plan for NCCA members and we’ve dedicated a major part of our 2008 Annual Meeting to environmental discussion.

The committee’s green initiative will get a final tune-up in January. Then, NCCA members can expect to hear all about the Committee’s work at the NCCA Annual Meeting, appropriately titled “Green: The New Color of Business.” This year’s event, to be held April 12-15, 2008 at the Loews Ventana Canyon Resort in Tucson, Arizona, features two top speakers on green issues to kick off the Sunday and Monday general sessions.
